| WICHITA, Kan. - Any tax-exempt, nonprofit organization proposing a health-related project is eligible to apply for the Kansas Health Foundation Recognition Grants Program. This is a competitive process by which the Foundation, a private, statewide philanthropy, awards grants up to $25,000 to grassroots organizations throughout the state. Preference is given to those projects demonstrating innovative and meaningful work that fits within the Foundation's mission to improve the health of all Kansans. The application deadline is March 15. However, only the first 200 applications received will be considered for possible funding. Once 200 applications have been received, proposals will not be accepted until the next funding cycle.
